A Little Magic Yet

We’re almost done with our home renovation! The granite was installed last Wednesday and it looks gorgeous. The last of our appliances will come next week, and the new carpets will be installed tomorrow. I’m really enjoying the way the light plays with the granite in our kitchen. We chose a slab from the warehouse that has really lovely burgundies, golds, and blues swirling around an iridescent background of opal whites and creams. I’ll photograph the kitchen and share once it’s complete!

The last week has been filled with transitioning to a family of four. Charlotte loves to sleep in our arms all day. We take turns holding her while the other preps the house for more contractors. Anastasia is getting more and more comfortable with her sister. It’s really sweet to see her interact with her. She puts blankets on her throughout the day when it’s cold. :)

We had the 8 day blessing for Charlotte where her name is inscribed in the book of life. She is named for my father (Charles / Kyriakos) and my aunt (Rose). It was really special to have this moment and we’re very grateful Father was able to come out for it. :’)
