Cookie Details!

Details are my favorite thing to work on! So here’s some info on what I’ve been up to the past few weeks.

I designed our daughter’s invitations with the photographs I took for her birthday. I love working with gold leaf, so I added elements of gold leaf throughout the invitation. The envelopes were lined with it, too. :)

Now for the cookies!

(To Note: When baking with a toddler, we’ve learned there is a ‘toddler tax’ that one must pay. Only a handful of cookies here or there, not too high, but worth noting ;)

I haven’t made these cookies in a long time, so this was a very fun kitchen endeavor to embark on just days before we demo our countertops. My favorites are the ones with lace and bows. I didn’t have a pattern in mind when frosting, I just kind of had fun with it.
